Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium Mini Book

I had so much fun designing this mini book, I used Graphic45's Christmas Emporium Collection.  For those of you that know me, know I am a huge Tim Holtz fan.  I am always finding ways to incorporate Tim Holtz products into my designs and this is no exception, it is full of TH stuff.  I used several of TH dies, chipboard and acrylic to construct this mini book.

The front cover is made with heavy acrylic and the decorative edge was made with Tim Holtz On the Edge Ornate die, as well as throughout the album.  I cut some canvas with TH Baroque die and layered some paper and chipboard pieces from the Christmas Emporium Collection.  I used the TH Tattered Floral die to cut some crinoline and altered the shape to form a poinsettia.  I also added a Maya Road Bingo piece and a Melissa Frances Bottle Brush Tree to finish it off.  I hand died the flower and the ribbons on the side with TH Distress Stains and Perfect Pearl Mists.

I ran a #8 shipping tag through my Vagabond with the TH Sheet Music Texture Fades Folder then layered TH Fired Brick and Walnut Stain Distress Ink over raised surface of the tag.
I cut the page out of white chipboard and painted with Claudine Hellmuth's Studio Black Gesso Paint and splattered with Perfect Pearls Mist Heirloom Gold, then I cut the snowflake out of TH Grunge Board and glittered.

I used a little Glossy Accents to create the raised surface on the Santa Stamp.
I distressed one of the TH Christmas Muse Tokens with a little Adirondack Pitch Black Dabber Paint and wiped off excess.

The rosette is made from the original TH Rosette die and backed with Melissa Frances Vintage Tinsel.

The ornament was cut from white chipboard using the TH Carved Ornament die and a small SpellBinders Circle Die for the center.  I had to run the Spellbinders die through a couple of times but it did cut through the chipboard.  Then I painted with black gesso.

Echo Parks Holly Jolly Christmas Layout & Cards

To add a little detail I Stickled the red and white present and cut some tags out of one of the boarder papers from the Holly Jolly Christmas Line.
I also added a little bling with my iRock setting tool and some clear crystals.
To create the packages for this layout I cut squares and rectangles in different sizes then add a complimenting boarder made with a scalloped boarder punch.  I cut the bows out with my Cricut.
I used a few sheets of this line to create these cards.  I cut the ornaments out and hung with silver cord, then added a little Stardust Stickles to finish the brown card off.  I used a little Glossy Accents on the light bulbs and it really gave them a great shine.  I also used a little more Stardust Stickles to add a little sparkle to the candy pieces and Christmas trees on the other two cards.
I am so excited to finally get my blog up and going!!  I still have a lot of work to do on it, but I hope you will enjoy the projects.  Here are some of the first projects I finished for the In-House Design Team for The Scrapbooking Studio in Bloomington.  The four cards and scrapbook layout that you see was done with Echo Parks Holly Jolly Christmas line.  This line is a fun whimsical line to work with.  I will post the mini book I designed in the next couple of days.  Thanks for looking :)
