Candlelight Merry Christmas Card...

Hello friends!  I'm back today sharing another project that I created for the Tim Holtz Holiday Inspiration Series.  This Candlelight Merry Christmas Card was created using new and rereleased Tim Holtz Sizzix Seasonal dies.  Let me walk you through how I put it together.
To start with, I painted a thin layer of white gesso on 2 sheets of Mixed Media Heavystock.  After dried, I applied a light wash of various (green) Distress Paints to 1 of the gessoed Heavystock.  Then applied a coat of Distress Collage Medium Matte to both the gessoed and Distress Painted Heavystocks and let air dry.  This will allow the Distress Crayons to blend well.  I die cut the candles from the gessoed (white) Heavystock and the Festive Greenery from the (greens) Distress Painted Heavystock. (UPDATE) I've listed the Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Festive Thinlits die set at the end of the post, just incase the Festive Greenery is no longer available.
I colored the berries with Candy Apple Distress Paint and a small brush, then air dried.  I applied various colors of Distress Crayons to all cutouts to achieve more color and shading.
I used Metallic Distress Crayons to add a bit of shimmer and sparkle.  It's hard to translate thru the photos but, in person it creates a beautiful sparkle and shimmer!
I die cut the Retro Merry Christmas from gold Metallic Kraft cardstock.  I assembled the card to kraft card base and layered mats with gold Metallic Kraft Cardstock and the Christmas Idea-ology Paper Stash.
I hope you'll give it a try!  You can find the supplies I've used via the links below.  If you have any questions please let me know I love your comments, I truly appreciate each and everyone of them!  As always thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time!  xx
